Bloomington, MN – Sept. 22, 2011 – Lucky Dog Pet Lodge will host its first annual Howl-O-Ween Party and Dog Adoption Fair on Sunday, October 30th 2011. For families interested in adopting a new pet local metro area rescue organizations will bring dogs ready for their furever homes. Anyone can bring their own pups to join in the bark and treat fun, including a Canine Couture Costume contest where pups walk the runway in front of our own set of celebrity judges!
The How-O-Ween Party includes:
– Canine Couture Costume contest including celebrity judges Ali Jarvis from the popular Sidewalkdog.com, Bart the Dumpster Dog, Dr. Vicki Schulz of South Hyland Pet Hospital and animal rescuer extraordinaire Marilou Chanrasmi
– Face painting so dog owners can look just like their pups
– FREE Pup Portraits from local photographers
– Bobbing for weiner dogs
– Paw-Print Station to create a set of pawtographs for your pet!
The event will also include exhibits from animal products and vendors from across the Cities will have the latest foods, toys and treats for sale.

I would love to join, but my dog doesn’t allow us to dress him up. Within five minutes of use putting anything on him, he has chewed it to bits. Good luck for all the other dog owners dressing their little guys up!
