Minnesota Humane Lobby Day is coming soon! Organized annually by The Humane Society of the United States – Minnesota, he Humane Lobby Day is a time for those concerned with animal welfare to gather at the capitol to lobby state legislators for animal rights and creating compassionate change. No experience is needed; representatives from The Humane Society will guide you every step of the way. Topics include protecting wildlife, banning gas chambers in animal shelters, increasing penalties for animal cruelty or other animal welfare issues you want to discuss.
This year the event will take place on March 6th between 9 am and 3 pm at Christ Lutheran Church on Capitol Hill (across from the Minnesota Capitol). The address is 105 University Ave W, St Paul, MN 55103.
To participate you must register in advance on this website. Each attendee must complete his or her own separate registration. The last day to register is February 27. The cost to participate is $10.
