New giveaway contest for remote monitor and camera

There are two new ways for pet parents to enjoy home security and have more peace of mind about their pup’s safety and well-being when away from home with a remote monitor or remote camera operated from your smartphone. With Kidde’s RemoteLync™ Monitor and RemoteLync Camera helping to watch over the house and alerting you to smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and motion via a smartphone, dogs are now free to go back to, well, being a dog. Bart the Dumpster Dog is giving away one RemoteLync Camera and RemoteLync Monitor! Just add a comment to this post before February 12, 2016 to be included in a random drawing. One winner for each product and you can let me know in your comment whether you have a preference!

RemoteLync Monitor is a remote notification device that listens for smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in your home and sends an alert to your smartphone when there’s a potential issue. RemoteLync Camera  is a battery-operated, cordless camera that alerts you via smartphone when motion is detected in your home while you’re away. Both solutions allow you to stay connected to your home, regardless of where you are, with no additional products, tools, or hubs.

Feeling lucky? There’s an even bigger prize! Through March 9, 2016 Kidde is asking pet parents to share what their dog will do with this free time now that he or she no longer has to be the guard dog with the #LetYourDogBeADog photo contest on Twitter, Vine, Instagram and www.letyourdogbeadog.com . The grand prize winner will receive a free RemoteLync Monitor and RemoteLync Camera, a Kidde Worry-Free Alarm gift pack and $200 toward a doggy day care or doggy spa. To enter the contest, use the hashtag #LetYourDogBeADog on Twitter, Instagram or Vine and follow the instructions sent in an auto-reply or visitwww.letyourdogbeadog.com and fill out the online form.

Kidde will donate $500 to the winner’s choice of these nonprofit organizations:  National Disaster Search Dog Foundation, which trains rescued dogs and partners them with firefighters to help in search missions, or The Emma Zen Foundation, which raises funds for pet oxygen masks and donates them to fire departments and other first responders. Five runner-up winners will each receive a RemoteLync Camera and RemoteLync Monitor.

  1. Bart, I know you are a rescue dog. Eva, Max and Maggie have all be rescued. They get quite naughty. Could use the monitor to keep an eye on
    their mischief.

  2. Wow! This product sounds terrific. I’ll be able to make sure my Bart in Charlotte is ok when I’m out at a meeting!

  3. Pepper and Boom Boom are at play all day. When I’m away I only have clues to decipher what’s happened in my house…what’s up with the sock in the toy box, where did this come from, and who got into the garbage this time. The Remote Lync camera would tell the tale. Yep, we need to be in the drawings…arf arf!
