Universal Studios Hollywood and L.A. Animal Services Partner to Give Shelter Dogs a Home for the ‘Who-lidays’ with the ‘Max to the Rescue
Universal City, California – The “Max to the Rescue: Have a Heart Dog Adoption Fair” returns to Universal Studios HollywoodSM for the third consecutive year, as the Entertainment Capital of L.A.SM partners with L.A. Animal Services to help shelter dogs “audition” for roles as prized pets for caring families on Friday, December 14 and Saturday, December 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The adoption fair, inspired by the rescue dogs who star as the Grinch’s sidekick “Max” in the “Grinchmas”™ nightly tree lighting Who-bilation, will take place in front of the theme park’s main entrance. A souvenir paw print certificate will be presented to each new adoptive family and complimentary provisions will be made for all adopted dogs to spend the day at Universal Studios Hollywood’s animal kennel for guests visiting the theme park.
“Grinchmas” features tons of fresh snow and nightly celebrity readings of the Dr. Seuss classic, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” The family-friendly Who-liday event will take place daily from December 15 through 31, 2012 and is included in the price of theme park admission.
More information, including updates on the “Grinchmas” celebrity readings, is available at UniversalStudiosHollywood.
