ASPCA Bergh Ball a huge success for animals!

On April 12, 2012 New Yorkers, fashionistas, celebrities and animal activists gathered for the 15th Annual ASPCA Bergh Ball at The Plaza in New York City. Among the stellar crowd who toasted at this year’s “Fetching”-themed gala were actress Lake Bell and fiancée Scott CampbellTinsley MortimerStar Jones and designer Catherine Malandrino. Host Isaac Mizrahi emceed the evening as patrons feted music guru and television producer Simon Cowell for his esteemed contributions to the ASPCA. Also among those dining and celebrating throughout the evening were Chris NirschelChuck Scarborough,Deborah NorvilleHunt Slonem and Alvin Valley.

Now in its 15th year, the event draws a passionate and distinguished crowd of animal lovers—including community leaders and celebrities—who come to dine and dance in support of the ASPCA mission to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.

  1. I love animals especially dogs. They’re really adorable and cute. It’s so nice about these people who took actions for animal rights. Animals should also be taken good care for they have feelings too.

  2. Our pet store is going to give 5% of the profit from selling dog clothes to our local Dog Rescue Centre. If all pet shops followed us, the quality of life for these dogs would greatly improve.

  3. It would be good if these kind of animal events could be networked around the world so that more notice is taken of them in ALL countries. More notice, more money and more care for all animals!
